12.2 Maintenance parts
Risk of infection, wear suitable gloves!
12.2.1 Pump tube
The pump tube should be changed in a 6 month cycle.
Hang out the tube as described in Figure 24, page 43 and pull the ends
of the tube out of the pump connections.
Insert the new tube into both
pump connections and push in as
far as they go (this is easier when
both tube ends are slightly
dampened with system solution).
Pay attention to the red markings
on the tube and the pump.

Insert the tube at the stopper into
the duct (notch in pump housing)
and push it as far as it goes.

Hang on pump tube according to Figure 4, page 13.
12.2.2 Exchanger and sample cannula
The exchanger should be changed in a 6 month cycle. The sample
cannula should be changed in a 12 month cycle.
Empty the flow system (see section 9.10.2, page 38).
