HiFi stereo system:
Symmetrical stereo connection (only possible with SUB 2080 D)
Some signal sources .e.g. CD players or preamplifiers offer symmetrical outputs for transmission of stereo signals.
These are connected with the inputs “Balanced Level In L” and “Balanced Level R” of the subwoofer via two XLR ca-
bles.
Furthermore, it is also possible with the SUB 2080 D to feed filtered stereo signals that are formed by the two incoming
signals to the amplifier of the HiFi speaker or active speaker. The advantages of such a connection are explained in
the description of the menu item “High-pass”.
