Toensuresteadinessofthemachineitisimportanttofastenthemachinetothefoundation.
Levelthemachinebyusingstainlessorgalvanizedsteelwashersbetweenthemachineandthe
oor.Thewashersmustbeofasizetocoverthesupportsurface.Fitthewashersandself-locking
nutssuppliedwiththemachineandtightenwell.T otightenthenutsitisrecommendedtousea
rachetwrench,especiallyintherightrearcorner.
Itisoftheupmostimportancethatthemachineisplacedinlevel,fromsidetosideaswellasfronttorear.If
themachineisnotproperlylevelled,itmayresultinout-of-balancewithoutarealoutofbalanceinthedrum.

machinemustbestableenoughtoabsorbthedynamicforcesgeneratedduringspincycles.
Thecombinationdeckandfoundationmustbeabletowithstandtheloadsindicatedinthetechnical
datatable.
Somemarineinstallationshaveverythindecks.Specialattentiontobetaken.Reinforcingdeck
plusincreasedsizeoffoundationmaybenecessary.
