Setting the Thread Guide Bar
Pull the thread guide bar up as far as it will go.
Turn the thread guide bar so that the thread guides are
right above the spool pins.

NOTE:
Make sure the two stoppers on the thread guide post, as
shown, are set in at the correct position.
Setting the Spool Cones
Place the spool cones on the spool holders.Thread the
machine in the following order:
If the thread slips down from a spool cone during thread-
ing and/or sewing, put a net over the spool cone as
illustrated to prevent jamming.

w Spool holder
e Net
When using small spools, remove the spool holders from
the spool pins.
r Small spool of thread
t Spool pin
Place the spool with its slit side up, and put the spool
holder cap on top of it.
