Threading the Machine
Raise the presser foot. Press the “Up/Down Needle” key
q until the needle is in an up position.

Pull the thread under the hook and around upper thread
guide w.
Guide the thread down right channel and around the
checkspring holder e.
Pull the thread up left channel to the take-up lever. Firmly
pull the thread from right to left, over the take-up lever
and down into the take-up lever eye r.
Proceed down left channel and through the lower thread
guide t.
Slide the thread to the left behind the needle bar thread
guide y.
Thread the needle from front to back manually or use the
built-in needle threader.
