Device placement requirements
This document provides the steps required to install rails and
enclosures in both EMC and non-EMC cabinets. Unless otherwise
specified, the illustrations depict the EMC 40U and 40U-C cabinet.
Figure 1 Typical cabinet front and rear views
Before attaching the mounting rails or trays in any cabinet, you must
decide where to put them. Where you install the devices depends on
the kinds of devices you will install and the height of each device.
