Remove and retain the Three #8-32 x 12mm Screws
from the Upper Motor Housing.
Make sure the Grommet is properly installed in the
Coupler Cover, then slide the Coupler Cover on the
Downrod until it rests on the Motor Housing (Figure 11).
Secure the Coupler Cover by reinstalling the Three
previous removed #8-32 x 12mm Screws.

Separate and route the Two 80” Motor Wires through
the Hanger Ball (Figure 13).
Slide the Hanger Ball on the Downrod.
Locate the previously removed Pin from the Downrod
and insert it into the Holes at the top of the Downrod,
as shown (Figure 13).
Rotate the Hanger Ball and engage the installed Pin of
the Downrod into the Groove on top of the Hanger Ball
(Figure 13).
The Motor Wires may cause some interference and it
may take several attempts to push the Pin through both
sides of the Downrod.

Place the Ceiling Cover over the Downrod (Figure 12).
Be sure that the Ceiling Cover and the Coupler Cover
are both oriented correctly (Figure 12).
