Position the three glass shade assembly studs into the
three keyhole slots of the light kit plate adapter
(Figure 16).
Rotate the glass shade assembly clockwise to engage
the stud heads into the light kit plate adapter to secure
the assembly (Figure 16).
NOTE: The three flat springs on the light kit plate
adapter will add extra security to the glass shade
assembly.
NOTE: periodically check that the glass shade
assembly is seated fully clockwise in the light kit
plate adapter.

Remove one of the three #8 - 32 x 3/8” truss head
screws from the light kit plate adapter (Figure 15).
Retain the screw for future installation. Loosen the other
two screws.
Carefully tuck all the wires under the light fixture
assembly prior to installing the light fixture assembly
onto the light kit plate adapter.
Place the light fixture assembly onto the light kit plate
adapter. Rotate the light fixture assembly to engage the
two loosen screws and tight the two loosened screws.
Reinstall the #8 - 32 x 3/8” truss head screw (previously
removed) into the light fixture assembly to secure.

To avoid possible fire or shock, do not pinch wires
between the light fixture assembly and the light kit
plate adapter.
