Increasing this parameter will allow the loop to track the current demand more closely.

This parameter should be set to the rated field voltage of the motor.
The name plate rated field current is normally quoted for a cold field. At this level of
current, the machine is over-fluxed which causes the back EMF of the machine to be
higher than expected. The parameter can be adjusted by monitoring the armature
voltage while running at full speed. See Pr 30 on page 30 for further information.
