Grounding
Proper grounding of the CPE115 is essential. Use the ground terminal located on the
underside, as shown in Figure 8. Use a 16-22 AWG braided wire with lugs to connect
the ground terminal of the CPE115 to a suitable ground stud in the enclosure panel,
or to the DIN Rail. The DIN rail onto which this product will be mounted must be
grounded as per the instructions provided in the PACSystems RSTi-EP User’s Manual,
GFK-2958.
