2.3 System readiness
If using HART based control or asset management systems, confirm the HART
capability of such systems prior to commissioning and installation. Not all systems are
capable of communicating with HART revision 7 devices.
2.3.1 Confirm correct Device Driver
Verify the latest Device Driver (DD/DTM) is loaded on your systems to ensure proper
communications.
1. Download the latest DD at www.emersonprocess.com.
2. In the Browse by Member dropdown menu, select Rosemount business unit of Emerson
Process Management.
3. Select desired Product
a. Within Table 2-1 on page 7, use the HART Universal Revision and Device Revision
numbers to find the correct Device Driver

Before connecting a 375 Field Communicator in an explosive atmosphere, make sure
the instruments are installed in accordance with intrinsically safe or nonincendive field
wiring practices.
