2.1 Identification of SIS certified transmitter

The Rosemount 8800D is certified per the relevant requirements of IEC 61508.

SIS-certified versions
All Rosemount 8800D Vortex Flowmeters must be identified as safety certified before
installing into SIS systems. To identify a safety certified Rosemount 8800D Vortex
Flowmeter, requirements 1 and 2, or requirements 2 and 3 must be satisfied. The
