4. Select the address bar at the top of the menu and press the ‘OK’
button. You will be guided to the virtual keyboard.
5. Enter the name of the website you want to visit, for example: www.eminent-
online.com and then press the ‘Play’ button twice to open the webpage.
6. Press the red button on the remote control to be able to click links on the
webpage, you can also use the mouse to click an item.
Hint: When using the virtual keyboard, press the red button to be able to add symbols
to the text. Use the ‘Time Seek’ button to switch between upper case and lower case
alphabet.
Hint: Use the ‘Bookmarks’ tab to add the website to the favorite list.
11.2 YouTubeXL
Note: YouTubeXL is provided by a third party. If this third party decides to make
changes to YouTubeXL or decides to stop supporting the YouTubeXL function, it
means Eminent can not guarantee the working of this service!
The EM7285 can also make use of the YouTubeXL function. YouTubeXL is
specifically designed to be used on televisions which means it is easy to use. Use the
following steps for YouTubeXL.
1. Use the navigation buttons to go to ‘Apps’ and press the ‘OK’ button.
2. Select ‘YouTube XL’ and press the ‘OK’ button. The YouTubeXL page will be
opened.
3. If you want to search for a specific title, select the ‘Search’ option and press the
‘OK’ button.
4. Press the ‘OK’ button at the ‘Search for videos’ field. The virtual keyboard will be
displayed.
5. When the title has been filled out, select the ‘OK’ button on the screen and then
press the ‘OK’ button on the remote control.
6. Select the ‘Search’ button and press the ‘OK’ button on the remote control. The
searched video will be shown.
Hint: Press the ‘Zoom’ button to view the video in full screen.
Hint: Use the ‘Login’ feature to login to your personal Google or Gmail account to view
your own uploaded video’s.
11.3 Buddy Link
The EM7285 also has the popular ‘Buddy Link’ option. Using this option you will be
able to communicate with other people who have a Buddy Link or google account.
You can send text messages and files to other people using the media player.
