Example: You set the temperature 22°C and a 0.5°C range, so the heating will
turn on, when the temperature drops below 21.5 °C and it turns o, when the
temperature exceeds 22.5 °C.
SETTING THE COOLING OR HEATING MODE – THE
DIP SWITCH
There is a DIP switch under the rear cover. It controls the toggling
between the cooling and heating system.
Because the comfort temperature for heating systems is generally
higher than the economy value and in case of cooling system it is on
the contrary, you need to toggle this switch to decide, if the thermostat
is to control a heating or a cooling system. Any mode change should
be done only when the power supply is disconnected and when the
batteries are not inserted!
Activated heating system – HEAT -
Activated cooling system – COOL -
COOLING SYSTEM CONTROL
The DIP switch allows using the thermostat also to control a cooling
system. The function is just like with the heating system, but there are
several dierences:
1. In general, the comfort temperature of a cooling system is lower
than the economy temperature value.
2. Switching on and o is reversed: the thermostat turns on, when the
temperature exceeds some set threshold.
