Water comes into the powder chamber
or leaks from the cap
• Check the dental unit connection
• Check the state of the o-rings of the turbine connection
• Connect the unit to the dental unit (be careful, the powder chamber must be empty)
• Dry and ll the powder chamber
• Send the complete unit to an approved EMS repair center
No powder/air jet coming from the unit • Cut immediately the air input by releasing the foot pedal
• Wait for 1-2 minutes for the system to decompress
• Disconnect the unit from the dental unit
• Press the foot control pedal of the dental unit
• If no air comes out of the turbine connector, it is your dental unit that causes the problem
• If air comes out of the turbine connector, it is the device that causes the problem
• If air comes through the handpiece connector, the handpiece is blocked.
• Clean the handpiece with the EasyClean
• Unscrew the cap above the wash-hand basin, because the powder can be ejected.
• A sealed apparatus, even disconnected, can indeed remain under pressure
• Empty the powder chamber and screw the cap back on
• Connect the unit to the dental unit (be careful, the powder chamber must be empty)
• Press the foot control pedal of the dental unit
• If no air comes out of the handpiece connector, the unit is blocked
• Send the complete unit to an approved EMS repair center
Air and/or powder is leaking from the
threads of the cap
• Check the seal and the cleanliness of the thread on the powder chamber and on the cap
• Replace the seal or the cap if necessary
• Send the device to a certied EMS Repair Center
The unit efciency diminishes • A powder rell is perhaps necessary
• Clean the handpiece
• Send the device to a certied EMS Repair Center
Water is leaking between the handpiece
and the unit
• Replace the seal of the handpiece connector
• Send the complete unit to an approved EMS repair center
Air is leaking between the handpiece
and the unit
• Clean the handpiece
• Replace the seal of the handpiece connector
• Send the complete unit to an approved EMS repair center
Air and/or water is leaking from the
connector of the cord
• Check the connector of the cord, if it is necessary, carry out maintenance following the information of the
manufacturer
• Send the complete unit to an approved EMS repair center
