禁忌症
任何情况下均不得使用气动抛光设备为患有慢性支气管炎或哮喘的患
者进行治疗。 喷出的气体和牙粉可能造成呼吸困难。
不得使用含有碳酸氢钠的牙粉为实行低盐饮食的患者进行治疗。 对于
实行低盐饮食的患者，应使用 EMS 提供的不含碳酸氢钠的牙粉。
关于牙粉的信息
EMS 提供的带香味的牙粉在某些特定情况下可能引发对香料的过敏性
反应。 对于已知晓对此类香料过敏的患者，应使用 EMS 提供的不带香味的
牙粉。
不得将牙粉喷嘴直接对准填充物、牙冠或假牙架，因为这样可能会损
坏这些修复体。
EMS 提供的含有碳酸氢钠的牙粉仅可用于龈上应用。 对于龈下应用，
请使用 EMS 提供的特定牙粉，并参阅其使用说明书。
绝不要使用研磨牙粉，即以二氧化硅或氧化铝为原料制成的牙粉。 这
样可能会损坏装置。
EMS 提供的牙粉经过特殊设计，可与装置配合使用。 不得使用其他制
造商生产的牙粉，因为这样可能损坏装置或对装置的有效性造成不良影响。
GENERAL HINTS FOR TREATMENT
Contra-indication
Patients suffering from chronic bronchitis or asthma must not, under
any circumstances, be treated with an air polishing device. The jet of air and
powder could cause respiratory difculties.
Patients on a low salt diet must not be treated with the powder containing
sodium bicarbonate. For patients on a law salt diet use the powder without
sodium bicarbonate provided by EMS.
Information about powders
The aromatic powder provided by EMS can lead, in specic cases, to
allergic reactions to the avor. For patients known to suffer such reactions,
use the powder without avor provided by EMS.
Do not direct the jet of powder toward llings, crowns or bridgework
as this could damage these restorations.
The powder containing sodium bicarbonate provided by EMS can
be used only for supra-gingival application. For sub-gingival application,
please use the specic powder provided by EMS and refer to its operation
instructions.
Never use an abrasive powder i.e. silica or alumina based. This would
damage the unit.
The powders provided by EMS are especially designed for use with
the unit. Do not use powders from other manufacturers as this could damage
the unit or could adversely affect its efciency.
