MAINTENANCE
The Hu-Friedy & EMS Piezon instruments must be checked regularly using the Hu-Friedy & EMS "Tip
Card". Ultrasound instruments wear during use and become shorter. Worn instruments are ineffective
and are a cause of discomfort to the patient.
Instruments showing wear on the diamond coating must be replaced.
For precautionary reasons, do not exceed the validated lifespan of the components (see the
Technical Data chapter).
Always use Hu-Friedy & EMS original parts. Using non- original components may damage the
equipment, and practitioner or patient may be injured.
