Military grade stainless steel PTFE tape (or equivalent)
Dry nitrogen
Isopropyl alcohol
1. Close the external flow of gas to the sample conditioning system
(SCS) at the sample inlet.
2. Purge the system by connecting dry nitrogen to the sample inlet.
Allow the SCS to purge for 5 to 10 minutes.
3. Close the nitrogen flow.
4. Power off the system. Refer to the Firmware Manual for this analyzer
for “Powering Down the Analyzer”.
5. Open the door to the measurement cell enclosure. Refer to Figure
B–4 on page B–11.
6. Remove the optical cable harness using a flat-head screwdriver.
7. Disconnect the cell inlet using a 9/16 in.wrench.
8. Disconnect the cell outlet using a 9/16 in. wrench.
9. Disconnect the thermistor cable at the circular connector.
10. Remove the pressure sensor cable from the circular connector inside
the enclosure.
For new model pressure sensors with quick-disconnects, detach the
pressure sensor cable from the pressure sensor at the connector
using a Phillips-head screwdriver. Do not remove the black connector
from the cable inside the enclosure.
Isopropyl alcohol can be hazardous. Follow all safety precautions
when in use and thoroughly wash hands prior to eating.
