Why is electrical noise affecting my Endress+Hauser SpectraSensors SS2100r Measuring Instruments?
    • M
      Mr. Samuel DuncanAug 3, 2025
High levels of electrical noise can interfere with laser operation of Endress+Hauser Measuring Instruments. To address this, always connect the analyzer to a properly grounded power source.

How to prevent gas leaks in Endress+Hauser SpectraSensors SS2100r?
    • D
      Dennis BradfordAug 9, 2025
To prevent gas leaks in Endress+Hauser Measuring Instruments, periodically leak-test the supply lines, especially after relocation, replacement, or factory service with reconnection of supply lines. Also, avoid using plastic tubing for sample lines; instead, use 1/4” O.D. x 0.035” wall thickness, seamless stainless steel tubing.

What to do if Endress+Hauser Measuring Instruments are not operating after start up?
    • S
      Selena WilliamsAug 21, 2025
If your Endress+Hauser Measuring Instruments are not operating after start up, verify that the power source is adequate (120 VAC @ 50-60 Hz, 9-16 VDC, 18-32 VDC), referring to the Calibration Certificate for specific power requirements. Also, check the fuse(s) and replace any blown fuses with equivalent ones, referring to Table 1–1.

How to deal with contamination in Endress+Hauser Measuring Instruments?
    • R
      russellwilsonNov 26, 2025
Contamination in Endress+Hauser Measuring Instruments can be addressed by periodically cleaning the gas sampling lines due to long exposure to high humidity. Additionally, ensure that a membrane separator filter (included with most systems) is installed ahead of the analyzer and operating normally. To clean the sampling line turn off the sample valve at the tap in accordance with site lock-out, tag-out rules. Disconnect the gas sampling line from the sample supply port of the analyzer. Wash the sampling line with isopropyl alcohol or acetone and blow dry with mild pressure from a dry air or nitrogen source. Once the sampling line is completely free of solvent, reconnect the gas sampling line to the sample supply port of the analyzer. Check all connections for gas leaks using a liquid leak ...
