2. Attach male connectors to the corresponding female connectors on
the back panel of the analyzer and secure in place using screws.
3. To complete the connections, connect the other end of the current
loop wires to a current loop receiver, the serial cable to a serial port
on a computer, the alarm cables to appropriate alarm monitors and
the validation request input to a switch.
Connecting the gas lines
All work must be performed by technicians qualified to install and interconnect
tubing
SpectraSensors recommends using 1/4” O.D x 0.035" wall thickness, seamless
stainless steel tubing.
To connect the sample supply and return lines:
1. Determine appropriate tubing routes from the sample supply and
sample return points to the analyzer.
2. Run stainless steel tubing from the sample supply and sample return
points to the sample supply and sample return ports of the analyzer.

Process samples may contain hazardous material in potentially
flammable and/or toxic concentrations. Personnel should have a
thorough knowledge and understanding of the physical properties
and safety precautions for the sample contents before installing
the analyzer.
