Aux wiring 1: System Shutdown Switch wiring
(compliance requirement)
The IQ System Controller 2 meets UL1741 PV RSE and NEC rapid
shutdown requirements for IQ8 Microinverters. The System
Shutdown Switch is the rapid shutdown initiator. The System
Shutdown Switch ensures a single point of initiation per NEC
2020. When turned o, the System Shutdown Switch will also
disconnect the battery from the system.
