FREESTANDING OUTSIDE VERTICAL INSTALLATION
To accomplish the above titled installation, follow steps 1 through 8 in the previous section and then
finish it by performing the following.
9. Install a tee with clean out on the outside of the house.
10. Install PL vent upward from the tee. Make sure that you install support brackets to keep the
vent straight and secure.
11. Secure the flashing as you go through the roof.
12. Ensure that the rain cap is approximately 36” (900 mm) above the roof.
