2.7. CHARGING YOUR BATTERY
Never store the battery in a discharged state. After every ride, charge the battery as soon as it
has reached room temperature. This is to ensure battery health
When it comes to charging the battery, there are two options you can either charge the battery
while it is on the bike, or you may take it with you and charge it in your home or oce
Your bike comes with an on-board charging system that can charge the battery while it is still on
the bike. The charging port is located on the lower left side of downtube
If you choose to take the battery with you to charge, there is a charging port on the left side of the
battery
Always charge the battery in a well ventilated, cool room. Do not leave the battery unattended for
an extended period
You can check the charge of the battery by pressing and holding the power button
If all the light is green, you can be assured that the battery is charged above 75%
Charging time is 5-6 hrs or until the charger light is green
The battery must not be left unattended when charging. Always charge the battery in front
of your eyes.
Never place the charger or the battery near ammable materials. Place the battery and
charger on a reproof surface before charging.
Please make sure you are gentle anytime you are inserting or removing the ports charging
cable. Failure to do so can result in damaged pins and poor connections.
