2.6. BATTERY REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
BATTERY REMOVAL
• Turn the key counterclockwiseto unlock the battery gently
• The key is located on the left side of the bike Figure 2C
• The battery lock is located under the downtube, rotate the
lock the unlock the battery
• Hold the battery and pull it downward. The battery should
easily come off Figure 2D
BATTERY INSTALLATION
• To reinstall, line the pins at the back of the battery with the
slots and make sure the battery is aligned Figure 2D
• Give a gentle push towards the back, then rmly press the
front of the battery down. If done correctly, you should hear a
click locking battery into the place
• After you hear the click, use the key to lock the battery in
place, this ensures that battery has two locks keeping it in
place
• Make sure the battery is rmly locked before operating the
ebike
