Data transmission protocol
Send request
Enquiry from master computer (Enquiry Telegram)
The send request to a centrifuge contains the following parameters:
EOT Control character (04H)
TYP Identification code for device type – 1 byte,
centrifuges = 21H
ADR Device address – 1 byte 20H ... 29H
Setting via the service program of the centrifuge
CNR Code number of a control parameter,
three-figure decimal number as ASCII characters
ENQ Control character (05H)
Answer from the centrifuge
STX Control character (02H)
CNR Code number of the parameter requested (3 characters)
= Equal sign (03dH)
VAL Value of the parameter in ASCII characters (max. 5 characters)
ETX Control character (03H)
BCC Block Check Count link-up (in bytes with exclusive - OR
(from 1 byte CNR (exclusive STX) to inclusive ETX)
If the incorrect code number is entered, the centrifuge responds with NAK.
If severe errors occur, no answer is transmitted.
