5804 R Replacing motor
Pre-condition: Remove lid, front cover and upper part of housing.
Remove 2 Phillips screws from cover for cooling aggregate.
Remove cover.
Disconnect motor connections on PCB Frequency converter (note colors).
Disconnect 2-pin plug.
Remove 5 Phillips screws of PCB Control.
Disconnect plug X10 (PCB Imbalance detection/ Hall sensor /rotor temperature).
Fasten PCB Control temporarily with 2 screws on housing.
Remove 3 Phillips screws of motor cap.
Remove motor cap.
Put centrifuge on its side.
Loosen 3 Phillips screws of motor.
This eases pulling plug X10 through cut-out of housing.
Pull cable of PCB Frequency converter through housing.
Disconnect ground from motor.
Loosen 5 screws of base plate.
Take motor to front and place on ground plate.
Remove 3 hexagonal nuts for fastening of motor.
Remove holder for Hall sensor.
Replace motor.
Mount motor in reverse order.
Imbalance adjustment: Magnet must be aligned horizontally and vertically to Hall sensor.
Horizontal distance between magnet and
Hall sensor = approx. 9-13 mm, depending on magnet design.
Start device. / carry out imbalance adjustment.
