4 Disassembly / Assembly
5810 Replacing motor
Pre-condition: Remove lid, front cover, upper part of housing and cover plate of PCB Control.
– Remove 3 Phillips screws of motor cap.
– Remove motor cap.
– Place centrifuge on its side.
– Remove 3 Phillips screws of rotor chamber in base plate.
– Pull out rotor chamber.
– Remove insulating cover.
– Remove 3 hexagonal screws for fastening of motor.
– Disconnect cable connections for motor on PCB Frequency converter.
–Replace motor.
Mount motor in reverse order.
Imbalance adjustment: Magnet must be aligned horizontally and vertically to Hall sensor.
Horizontal distance between magnet and
Hall sensor = approx. 9-13 mm, depending on magnet design.
– Start device. / carry out imbalance adjustment.
5810 R Replacing motor
Pre-condition: Remove lid, front cover and upper part of housing.
– Remove 4 Phillips screws from cover plate of PCB Frequency converter. Put cover plate aside.
– Disconnect cable connections on PCB Frequency converter.
– Disconnect motor connections on PCB Frequency converter (note colors).
– Disconnect 2-pin plug.
– Fasten cover plate for PCB Control temporarily with 2 screws on housing.
– Fasten PCB Control with 2 screws on housing.
– Remove 3 Phillips screws of motor cap.
– Remove motor cap.
– Place centrifuge on its rear panel.
– Remove 5 Phillips screws of PCB Control.
