5804 R Supplement for retrofitting the new rear panel
Lamella protection for centrifuges 5804 R up to serial no. 2948
Mounting instructions
Aids: Hand drill
Drill, ø 3.6 mm and ø 4.5 mm, with 10 mm drilling-depth limit.
Retrofit kit consists of:1 x mounting instructions
1 x rear panel
2 x screws M4 x 8
7 x washers
1 x Sheet metal nut
1. Remove old rear panel.
2. Fasten new rear panel with some screws first,
mark the two missing bores and drill using the 3.6-mm drill.
Use drilling-depth limit!
Exceeding depth of 10 mm will damage condenser tubes of cooling aggregate!
(Press lamelles aside, if required)
3. Place new rear panel
below housing edge
and fasten with screws (M4 x 8) +
washer (lacquer protection)!
One screw (M4 x 8) with lock washer for ground connection
Mark and drill (ø 3.6 mm);
widen later to ø 4.5 mm.
Push sheet metal nut onto
bore with flat side facing
outwards.
Mark and drill
