6 If you’re using Windows 98 with a USB connection, you need to
uninstall the EPSON USB Printer Device software also. Follow
steps 3 and 4 again. In step 3, select EPSON USB Printer
Devices in the list.
7 Restart your computer. To reinstall your software, see the Start
Here card or the USB Software Installation Guide .
Windows 3.1 Instructions
1 Double-click the Main program group icon, then double-click
the Control Panel icon.
2 Double-click Printers.
3 Select EPSON Stylus COLOR 740 in the Installed Printers list
and click the Remove button.
4 To reinstall your software, see the Start Here card.
Macintosh Instructions
1 Insert the EPSON printer software CD-ROM in your drive.
2 Double-click the EPSON icon. After a moment, you see the
EPSON Stylus COLOR 740 Installer Main Menu.
3 Click Re-install Printer Driver, then click the same button on
the next screen.
4 At the driver installation title screen, click Continue.
