7.4 Confirmation of data
Check if the calibration is achieved correctly with the model eye which is used for the
calibration.
1) Press ‘RETURN’ after completing calibration of the
model eye to be adjusted.
2) Press ‘RETURN’ switch to return to the
‘MAINTENANCE MODE’ screen.
3) The screen is switched to the measurement screen.
Align the model eye correctly and take the
measurements of the refractivity and the corneal
curvature radius. Make sure the measurement results
are within the acceptable criteria below.

Equivalent to SPH=+10D
SPH: within ±0.12D of the
indicated value of the model eye
CYL: within ±0.12D
Equivalent to SPH=0D
Equivalent to SPH=-10D
Equivalent to SPH=-4.75D
(Accessory model eye)
Equivalent to R=7.50mm
Both R1 and R2 are within
±0.01mm of the indicated values
of the model eyes
Equivalent to R=10.00mm
Equivalent to R=5.00mm
Measure the refractivity with VD=0 (CONTACT).
If the measurement results are over the acceptable range, recalibrate the model eye.
