Delivery Height adjustment
Using the brakes Adjusting the brakes
Thank you for choosing a walker from Etac.
Before using the walker read through the manual.
Ono is a four-wheeled walker intended as a walking aid for
indoor and outdoor use. (Fig. A)
Ono has been tested and approved in accordance to
EN ISO 11199-2 for a maximum user weight of max. 125 kg.
Ono is CE-marked and meets the requirements set out in the
medical device directive.
The brakes require minimal muscle strength and functions
as both a service brake and a parking brake.
ONO is delivered without handles mounted in the frame.
The walker should be opened out before the handles
are fitted. Fit the handles (see height adjustment below),
adjust the brakes (see brake adjustment below), and ONO
is ready to use.
Folding: Apply the brakes and hold one of the push
handles at the same time as folding up the seat by pulling
upwards on the catch.(Fig. B)
Unfolding: Apply the brakes and hold one of the push
handles at the same time as folding down the seat.
NB! The seat must be completely unfolded when the wal-
ker is in use.
The push handles are adjustable in height from 75 cm to
100 cm. When setting the height the push handles’ upper
part shall be at the level of your wrists (Fig. C1). Release
the brake strap, undo the knob, remove the screw and set
the height.
Ensure that the screws are in the correct position and
tighten properly. Then adjust the brakes (see brake adjust-
ment).
If the walker feels unstable after having been used for a
while, check that the screws are properly tightened.
General information

brake.
Pull the handle upwards for the service brake and push it
downwards (fig D) for the parking brake.
(See Fig. E 1-5)

holds or kerbs.
Max. load in the basket is 10 kg.
Max load on the tray is 2 kg.
When sitting on the seat the parking brake must be
applied.
