Important Safety Instructions (Cont.)
• Test cycle: Carry out a test cycle after installing the air conditioner and
record the operating data. Make sure that air cannot enter the refrigerant
system and check for refrigerant leaks when moving the air conditioner.
• Installation location: The installation location should be in an areas that
is well-ventilated. The location used when installing or maintaining an air
conditioner using refrigerant R32 should be free from open flames, welding,
smoking, ovens, or any other heat source.
• Anti-static: When installing this air conditioner, please ensure you use
appropriate anti-static measures such as wearing anti-static clothing and /
or gloves.
• Air inlets: Please choose an installation / maintenance location where the
air inlets and outlets of the indoor and outdoor units are not surrounded
by obstacles or close to any heat source or combustible and / or explosive
items.
• Refrigerant leaks: If the indoor unit experiences a leak of refrigerant during
installation, please immediately turn off the valve of the outdoor unit and
all personnel should leave the area until the refrigerant leaks completely
for 15 minutes. If the product is damaged, please relocate the damaged
product back to the maintenance station, as it is prohibited to weld the
refrigerant pipe or conduct other operations on the user’s site. A leak test
must be done after the installation completed. When filling the combustible
refrigerant, any of your rude operations may cause serious injury or injuries
to human body and objects.
• Electrical appliances: It is necessary to avoid the places where there are
other electrical products, power switch plugs and sockets, kitchen cabinet,
bed, sofa and other valuables right under the lines on two sides of the
indoor unit.
• Safety inspection: It is a must to do the safety inspection before
maintaining or repairing an air conditioner using combustible refrigerant in
order to ensure that the fire risk is reduced to minimum.
• Room size: Requirements for the total weight of filled refrigerant and the
area of a room to be equipped with an air conditioner can be seen in the
two tables below.
