Why does my Even Embers GAS8560AS not get hot enough?
    • G
      Gina PetersonAug 14, 2025
If your Even Embers Grill isn't getting hot enough, the first thing to check is whether you're out of gas. Replace or refill the LP gas tank if it's empty. It's also possible the flow limiting device has been activated. To resolve this, try a mini reset by turning the control knobs and LP gas tank valve to the off position, waiting one minute, and then relighting the grill according to the lighting instructions. If the flames are still too low, perform a full reset by turning the control knobs and LP gas tank valve to the off position, disconnecting the regulator from the propane tank, inspecting the LP cylinder rubber seal, waiting one minute, reconnecting the regulator, performing a leak test on all connections, and then lighting the grill per the lighting instructions.

What to do if my Even Embers Grill has a flare-up?
    • B
      Bradley RogersAug 21, 2025
A flare-up on your Even Embers Grill can be caused by grease buildup. Clean all grill parts according to the proper care and maintenance instructions. Another cause can be excess fat in the meat, so trim the fat before grilling. Lastly, it could be due to an excessive cooking temperature, so adjust the temperature to a lower setting.

Why is the flame yellow or orange on my Even Embers Grill?
    • C
      Charles GordonAug 25, 2025
If the flame on your Even Embers Grill is yellow or orange, it could be due to a few reasons. New burners may have residual manufacturing oils, so burn the grill for 15 minutes on high with the lid closed. Spider webs or insect nests in the venturi can also cause this issue, so clean the venturi and burner assembly. Additionally, food residue or grease can be a factor, so clean the burner assembly. Finally, poor alignment of the valve to the burner venturi can be the cause, so make sure the burner venturi is properly engaged with the valve.

Why does my Even Embers GAS8560AS have an irregular flame pattern?
    • S
      Shannon YoungAug 27, 2025
An irregular flame pattern on your Even Embers Grill, where the flame doesn't run the full length of the burner, is often due to clogged or blocked burner ports. Cleaning the burner ports should resolve this. Another potential cause is that the air shutter on the burner needs adjustment.

Why does the flame blow out on my Even Embers GAS8560AS?
    • C
      Cristina ColeAug 31, 2025
If the flame on your Even Embers Grill blows out, it could be due to high or gusting winds, so avoid using the grill in windy conditions. It could also be due to low LP gas, so replace or refill the LP gas tank. Additionally, burner holes may be obstructed. The flow limiting device may have tripped.

What causes a grease fire on my Even Embers Grill?
    • W
      wademichaelSep 3, 2025
A grease fire on your Even Embers Grill is typically caused by grease trapped by food buildup around the burner system. To handle this: 1. Turn the control knobs and LP gas tank valve to the OFF position. 2. Leave the lid either open or closed and allow the fire to burn out. If necessary, use a BC type fire extinguisher or baking soda, sand, or dirt to smother the fire. 3. After the grill cools down, remove and clean all parts according to the proper care and maintenance instructions.

If your Even Embers Grill burner won't light, ensure the LP gas tank valve is open and securely attached. If the tank is low or empty, replace or refill it. In case of a gas leak, close the tank valve, wait 5 minutes, and follow the leak testing procedure in the owner's manual. Check the burner assembly for obstructions, and clean it if necessary. Also, make sure the burner is properly seated, and clean the venturi and burner assembly for spider webs or insect nests. Clean any clogged or blocked burner ports. Replace the battery, clean wires/electrode with rubbing alcohol if covered in residue, and dry wet electrodes/burners. If the electrode is cracked, replace it.
