  If your Even Embers Grill isn't getting hot enough, there might be a few reasons: * Make sure the temperature control is properly adjusted by turning up the heat on the control dial. * Avoid opening the door too often, as this lets heat escape and slows down cooking. * Check that there are enough pellets in the pellet hopper, giving them enough time (up to 7 minutes) to move to the fire pot. * Also, if the fire goes out on the 'SMOKE' setting, it could be due to excess ash. Remove any unburned pellets and ash from inside and around the fire pot, ensuring the grill is cold before doing so.

  If the electric element of your Even Embers Grill won't heat up, here's what you can check: 1. Ensure the 3-wire plug is fully seated into a 3-wire grounded GFCI outlet wired for 120 volts. Reseat the plug if necessary. 2. Verify that the breakers or fuses for the outlet being used are not open or blown. Reset the breakers or replace the fuse if needed. 3. Confirm that the GFCI outlet has not been tripped. Reset the GFCI outlet. 4. Note that the electric element only heats up (becomes red) during the first 5 minutes after the power switch is turned on. Turn the power switch off and then to 'Smoke' again. 5. If a fuse is blown, replace it with a max fuse size of 5mm x 20 mm, 5 amps.
