Reseat the plug if necessary. 2. Verify that the breakers or fuses for the outlet being used are not open or blown. Reset the breakers or replace the fuse if needed. 3. Confirm that the GFCI outlet has not been tripped. Reset the GFCI outlet. 4. Note that the electric element only heats up (becomes red) during the first 5 minutes after the power switch is turned on. Turn the power switch off and then to 'Smoke' again. 5. If a fuse is blown, replace it with a max fuse size of 5mm x 20 mm, 5 amps.
