Indoor Installation Recommendations
To cool the room using the Evoheat 270.
Heat pumps operate most efficienctly with warmer air temperatures, and the outlet air from
the unit will be colder than the inlet air. Therefore it is advisable to install the unit so it
recieves the warmest air temperatures possible and the cold air is not able to recirculate
back into the unit.
The unit may be able to be installed in an unventilated room exceeding 25m3 in volume.
Venting of cold air is always advisable to prevent the air temperature dropping and lowering the
efficiency of the unit.
Think of the unit as a 3kW airconditioner for the effect it will have on a closed room.
Install the unit so the outlet from the heat pump is blowing INTO the room. The room MUST
have some form of air outlet otherwise the performance of the unit will suffer significantly
To maintain the room at normal temps using the Evoheat 270.
Install the unit so the outlet from the heat pump is blowing OUTSIDE the room. The room
MUST have some form of air inlet otherwise the performance of the unit will suffer
significantly
