NOTICE
Engine oil is a major factor affecting engine performance
and service life. Non-detergent and 2-stroke engine oils will
damage engine and are not recommended.
• Be sure to use engine oils spe under “Engine Oil
Recommendations.”
It is very important to maintain proper level of engine oil to
keep engine in good running condition.
• Check engine oil level prior to each us ll engine
oil if oil level is low.
Engine Oil Recommendations
Use 4-stroke oil, SAE 15W-40 is recommended for
general, all-temperature use.

Checking Engine Oil Level
To check engine oil level:
1. Stop the generator if the engine is running.
WARNING
Crankcase pressure can cause hot engine oil to
cause severe burns.
