A.Loosenretainingclipsandremoveair
cleanercompartmentcover.
B.Removepaperelement.Checkthe
conditionofthepaperelement.Replaceif
dirty,bentordamaged.
C.Checktheconditionoftheinnerelement.
Replacewheneveritappearsdirty,typically
everyothertimethepaperelementis
replaced.Cleanthebasearoundtheinner
elementbeforeremoving,sodirtdoesnot
getintotheengine.
D.DoNotwashorusepressurizedairto
cleanpaperelementorinnerelement.
E.Reinstallelements.Positionthecoverso
thattherubberdustejectorispointing
downwardandsecurewithretainingclips.

A.Removefoampre-cleanerelementand
washinwarmwaterwithdetergent.Rinse
untilalltracesofdetergentareeliminated
andsqueezeoutexcesswater(DoNot
wring).Airdry.Saturatewithengineoil
andsqueezeoutexcessoil.
B.Checkpaperelement.DoNotwashor
usepressurizedairtocleanpaperelement.
Replaceifdirty,bentordamaged.
C.Reinstallfoampre-cleanertopaper
element,thenreinstallpaperelementand
cover.

4.Fithoseinliteraturepackoveroildrainvalve.
Rotatethevalve1/4counterclockwiseandgently
pulloutwardtoopenthevalve.Allowtheoilto
drain,thenclosethevalvebypushinginwardand
rotating1/4turnclockwise.Removeandretain
thehoseforfutureuse.
