Why my Exmark Lawn Mower engine will not start?

If your Exmark Lawn Mower engine won't start, starts hard, or fails to keep running, first ensure the fuel tank isn't empty and the fuel shutoff valve is open. Check the oil level in the crankcase and add oil if needed. Make sure the throttle and choke are in the correct positions. Replace the fuel filter if it's dirty, and inspect/clean or replace the air filter. Inspect the spark plug wire connection and clean, adjust, or replace the spark plug. Also, check the seat switch indicator and replace the seat if needed. Inspect the electrical connections for good contact, cleaning them as necessary. For issues related to stale fuel, or defective relay, switch, or module, consider contacting an authorized service dealer.
