What to do if my Exmark Lazer Z XP Lawn Mower engine will not start?

If your Exmark Lawn Mower engine isn't starting, ensure the battery is fully charged. Make sure the throttle control is midway between the “SLOW” and “FAST” positions, and the choke is in the “ON” position for a cold engine or the “OFF” position for a warm engine. Also, verify there's fuel in the tank and the fuel valve is open. The operator must be in the seat, the parking brake should be set, and motion control levers moved out to the neutral lock position. Check that the blades are disengaged. For 31 HP Daihatsu Gas units, check that the spark plug wires are properly connected. Inspect for loose or faulty wiring connections and corrosion at all wiring connections; clean connector terminals with electrical contact cleaner, apply dielectric grease, and reconnect.
