4. Ethernet LED Indicator
Solid: 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port is linked.
Off: Ethernet Link has not been established.
Flashing: Transmission of Ethernet data.
5. Electrical Pass-through
The electrical pass-through interface has integrated filters that suppress noise from accessing the
home’s electrical power lines.
6. Sync Button
The sync button can perform several functions. It is used to:
a. Change the Network Membership Key from the factory default for the purpose of
creating a private Powerline network.
b. Reset the LANSocket 1500 to factory defaults.
7. NEMA 5 120VAC and Powerline Interface
Provides power to the LANSocket 1500 and used to transmit the Powerline frames across the
electrical power lines.
