What to do if FAAC Gate Opener learning is not finished correctly?
    • G
      Gregory CalderonJul 28, 2025
If the learning process for your FAAC Gate Opener doesn't finish correctly, and the SET UP LED is flashing to indicate a fault, it could be due to the automated system detecting that the door movement is too difficult. Inspect the door's balance to ensure it moves freely without excessive friction. Manually move the door using the rod fitting to verify smooth movement without requiring too much force.

How to fix FAAC Gate Opener when learning procedure does not perform any manoeuvre?
    • D
      David CervantesAug 6, 2025
When starting the learning procedure on your FAAC Gate Opener, if the SET UP LED flashes but the system doesn't move, it might be because the STOP and FSW safety devices are enabled during the learning stage. A non-connection or incorrect connection could be preventing the operator from working. Check the LEDs’ status following the instructions of the “Inputs status LEDs”. Check the connections shown in fig. 27.

What to do if FAAC Gate Opener is difficult to release while the door is closed?
    • M
      Madison SmithAug 16, 2025
If you find it difficult to release the FAAC Gate Opener system while the door is closed, it may be due to excessive mechanical load on the release system. To fix this, run a new learning cycle. After completing the cycle, reduce the closing thrust by commanding the carriage to withdraw as described in paragraph 11.2.
