Collectors on Flat Tile Roofs
APPENDIX D — Roof Mounting Details
The figures depict examples of mounting on Flat Tile roofs. Substrate is required to support and protect the collec-
tors from abrasion but may be substituted by a roof rack with support from runners not exceeding 16” separation.
If the rack has spacing greater than 16”, a substrate must be used to support the collector from excessive sagging.
