13. Video Button
a. Push the Video button in any shooting mode to start recording a video. The camera beeps
once as recording begins and the record symbol (REC) appears with the elapsed time.
b. Push the Video button again in order to stop recording.
Multi-Selector buttons (14-18)
14. Drive Mode / Up Pushing this control activates the camera Drive Mode / Up button.
15. Flash / Right Pushing this control activates the camera Flash Mode / Right button.
16. Display / Down Pushing this control activates the camera Display / Down button.
17. Macro / Left Pushing this control activates the camera Macro / Left button.
18. Func. Set / Control Dial
c. Pushing this control activates the camera Func. Set (confirm selection) button.
d. Rotating this control operates the camera control dial, thereby enabling to alter exposure
values, navigate through menus and other functions assigned to this dial.
19. Latch Dial This dial ensures the housing is properly closed and watertight sealed, when locked fully
into place. For further instructions, please refer to the sections "Opening the Housing” and “Closing
the Housing”.
20. Latch Dial Lock (red lever) - Ensures the secure dial doesn’t accidently open during the dive. For
further instructions, please refer to the sections "Opening the Housing” and “Closing the Housing”.
21. Mobile Device Connection Rotating this control counterclockwise activates the camera Mobile
Device Connection button, thereby connecting the camera to a smart phone and allowing you to
share your images.
22. Menu - Pushing this control activates the camera menu button.
23. Playback Pushing this button allows you to enter the playback mode and to review images or
videos stored on the memory card.
24. Removable Anti-Glare Hood The anti-glare hood enables a better view of the LCD screen when
shooting in bright conditions. It can be removed and installed during the dive. For further
instructions, please refer to the section “Preparing the Housing”.
