3.1 Signaling Line Circuits
A. Class A, Style 6, 4-Wire Wiring Instructions
• Connect an EOL-E End of Line device on Terminals 2 and 3 or 6 and 7, depending on the appropriate
circuit.
• Connect field wiring to the addressable initiating/control devices as shown in Figure 3.
• Be sure to observe polarity.
• Maximum allowable resistance in the field wiring is 40 ohms per circuit including sub-loops and remote
zone modules. Use untwisted, unshielded pair cable.
• Maximum capacitance 0.2 uf.

Loop 1 Trouble Yellow Lights to indicate trouble in Signaling Line Circuit 1.
Loop 1 Alarm Red Lights to indicate alarm in Signaling Line Circuit 1.
