optimum perf o rm a n c e
, it is important not to push your machine beyond its punch-
ing capacity. While it may be physically possible to fit in more sheets, we recommend not
trying to save time in this way: It is likely to jam the machine, which over time will shorten
its useful life. In addition, if your machine jams frequently when you are running it at
capacity, it could be a result of unusually high humidity or otherwise heavier than normal
sheets. Reducing input slightly should produce better results. For easy reference, you will
also find the machine’s punching capacity printed on the inside of the waste drawer +.
