  A water flow failure in your Ferroli Heat Pump can occur due to several reasons. Check that all shut off valves of the water circuit are completely open. See if the water filter needs cleaning. Make sure there is no air in the system. Verify sufficient water pressure, which must be greater than 1 bar. Ensure the pump speed setting is on the highest speed and that the expansion vessel isn't broken. Also, confirm that the resistance in the water circuit isn't too high for the pump. If this occurs during defrost, ensure the backup heater power supply is correctly wired and fuses aren't blown. Finally, check that the pump fuse and PCB fuse are not blown.

If the electrical expansion valve is locked or the winding connector is loose, tap the valve body and plug the connector in and out several times and install the winding correctly. Ensure the heat exchanger cover is removed. Clean the heat exchanger if it's dirty or blocked.
