3 Layout and function
This section explains which components of the test bench are important for you, and which functions they
fulfil.
3.1 Layout
Main components of the test bench:
• Test bench housing
• Servo brake motor
• Test object (not included in scope of delivery)
The following parts are integrated into the test bench housing:
power pack, controller, mains switch, USB port, display, rotary control knob, connector panel.
The test bench housing with rubber feet serves as a rack for the test bench. The power pack and the
controller are enclosed in the test bench housing. The servo brake motor is mounted to the top of the test
bench housing. Different test objects can be connected to the test bench, one after the other. Quick
clamping fixtures make it easy to change from one test object to the next.
