4.3 Connecting the test object to the test bench
Danger
Possible personal injury and mortal danger
Danger due to electrical current:
• Turn the power switch off and secure it against being switched back on again, before plugging cables
into or unplugging them from the test bench.
• Only use connecting cables with safety plugs for electrical connections.
• Pull the plug only when disconnecting connector cables – never pull the cable.
• Only use cables and plugs with undamaged insulation.
Connecting the test object – here’s how:
1. Turn off the mains switch and the power switch.
2. Connect cables in accordance with the wiring diagram (see section “Wiring diagrams”).
3. Connect the thermo-switch terminals to the motor (see section “Wiring diagrams”).
4. Switch supply power back on again before performing a measurement.
