●Firmware update
You can select OTA update or local update.
OTA update requires a stable connection to Wi-Fi, and once you press the “check
update” button, M11 will automatically look for new versions online. If a new version
is available, it will notify you of the new version, and then the update can be
performed accordingly.
For local update, the following steps need to be followed:
1) Download the firmware from FiiO official website, such as “M11-ota-1.0.5.zip”,
and copy this firmware file to micro SD. Note that the file should not be unzipped, and
you are recommended not to modify the file name.
2) Press “Technical Support > Local upgrade” accordingly, locate the firmware file in
the “Local upgrade” interface, on the main interface, press the firmware file.
