Pulling the Vehicle onto a Trailer or Transporter
CAUTION: The recovery eye may only be used if the vehicle wheels will roll
and the vehicle is being loaded directly onto a flatbed truck. If the wheels will
not roll - then nylon straps will need to be used along with skates under all 4 wheels.
This vehicle is supplied with a vehicle recovery eye located in the under floor trunk
box. If power loss prevents power liftgate from being opened, access floor trunk
box by folding rear seats.
Note: If power loss prevents wheels from rolling or the vehicle is off the road, then
the vehicle will need to be winched using nylon straps. Using the tow eye is not
suitable in these scenarios.
The recovery eye can be installed to either the front or the rear of the vehicle.
